Labourer
Martens Contracting is seeking dedicated Labourers to join our dynamic team, responsible for performing various tasks at construction sites, including loading and unloading materials, preparing sites by cleaning and removing hazards, and assisting with basic tasks as directed by the foreman. The ideal candidate will demonstrate physical stamina, a commitment to safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Previous experience in construction or a related field is beneficial but not required, as on-the-job training will be provided for the right candidate.
Operator
Martens Contracting is currently looking for an experienced Excavator Operator to operate and maintain our state-of-the-art excavating equipment for various projects in the Greater Sydney area. The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in operating heavy machinery safely and efficiently, a deep understanding of excavation and construction principles, and the ability to follow safety guidelines diligently. A valid heavy machinery operator's license and a strong commitment to teamwork and project deadlines are essential for this role.
Project Manager
Martens Contracting is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee and lead civiconstruction projects from conception through to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, budgeting, overseeing and documenting all aspects of the specific project they are working on. Applicants should have a proven track record in project management within the construction industry, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to lead teams and manage project timelines effectively. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
